This cozy room is located in a quiet apartment. The apartment is approximately 65 m2 and was built in 1900.
There are plenty of public facilities, such as: shopping centre accessible in 15 minutes, tram about 5 minutes walk to Amsterdam CS, Slotermeerplas for recreation, Mediterranean / tropical eateries and so on.
Nearest public transport is:
- Amsterdam bus station, Ecuplein
- Halfweg/Zwanenburg train station
The landlady (roommate) is a pleasant, warm and spirited / spontaneous woman. She is pleasant to deal with. She is looking for a fellow resident who finds cleanliness / hygiene important. A tidy house is a must!
All facilities are shared. The room is approx. 8 m2, containing a single bed, and other standard furnishings: see photo.
- The deposit is 1x the monthly rent and will be refunded after the final inspection, provided no damage or other defects are found.
- Houserules: music instruments only with use of a headphone. No visitors, smoking, pets.
- Registration with the municipality is not permitted. As soon as you become a tenant, it is important that you provide your proof of identity and registration to an educational institution and / or proof of employment.
Amsterdam is the capital and the largest municipality in the Netherlands by population. An influx of foreigners, mainly from the Southern Netherlands, Germany and the Scandinavian countries, led to urban expansions from the end of the 16th century, including the last canals of the fortification that is now known as the canal belt and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2010.
Sights and attractions in Amsterdam are the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum, the Van Gogh Museum and Het Scheepvaartmuseum, the Anne Frank House, the Concertgebouw, Muziekgebouw aan 't IJ and EYE Filmmuseum, Artis Zoo, the Red Light District, the coffee shops and the Johan Cruijff Arena. The city has two universities and several colleges.
