🏡 Our Story – Since 2002

Our journey began in 2002, when we started renting out rooms in our own properties.

Over the years, we welcomed tenants from many different countries and backgrounds, gaining valuable first-hand experience in international housing.

As our experience grew, we expanded our services to help other property owners find suitable tenants.

Today, we focus on rental mediation, using our knowledge and experience to connect international students, interns and expats with landlords offering accommodation in the Netherlands.

🔍 How We Select Our Accommodation

At Room to Rent, we believe that finding suitable accommodation starts with choosing the right landlords and properties.

Before offering a room, we carefully assess both the landlord and the accommodation through personal conversations, photographs and, where available, video footage.

This approach helps us maintain the quality of our accommodation listings and gives international tenants greater confidence when searching for a room in the Netherlands.

For Tenants

We help international students, interns and expats find suitable accommodation in the Netherlands.

For Landlords

We provide personal rental mediation services for private landlords who want to rent out their rooms without the time-consuming process of finding and selecting suitable tenants.

Our services include:

• Finding and selecting prospective tenants

• Arranging property viewings

• Preparing rental agreements

• Coordinating the first month's rent

• Providing advice and assistance with rental agreement extensions

Once the tenant has moved in, the landlord becomes the main point of contact. We remain available to provide advice and assistance when needed.
